Exclamation

Hello, I have an Apollo Heating System which uses the hot water from the gas water heater to circulate to the units and return a few degrees cooler. The downstairs unit works fine but the upper one simply blows cold air. Any possible suggestions for causes and/or fixes short of calling a specialist? Thank you so much for your time and attention.

Also, if your pump is running, check to see you have the proper pressure in your boiler. It should be about 10-12 psi of water in the system.. If that is checked, maybe you have an air lock.. make sure you bleed the air out of all the radiators.

Good luck,
Jay

Hello, my mom also has an Apollo Heating System. A couple weeks ago it was not heating, a technician looked at it and said the water-pump was overheating and that turning it off for a few minutes then turning it back on, allowing the pump to cool down, would suffice temporarily. However, the pump needs to be replaced and it is quite expensive. Is this something that I can replace myself with not to much trouble. And if so where can I find a replacement pump for this system? The technician says the system has to be drained before hand. Thanks for your assistance.
