Forced air duct work noise

It seems that this winter I am hearing more duct work noise than before. I have listened closely and it seems that it is in one location and can happen several minutes after the blower and natural gas furnace shuts off or when the unit is starting. It appears to be in the warm air duct 8-10 feet from the furnace. What is the best way to find the cause and correct it.

When did you last change your air filter? If it's stopped up, you just may be heating up the duct too much and causing excessive expansion and contraction.

Replaced furnace filter a couple of weeks ago. Doesn't seem to affect the banging in the warm
air duct at all.
