replacing ignitor module on gas furnace

Our Tempstar gas furnace may need a new ignitor module, and I was wondering if anyone had replaced this part before. The local repairman is wanting to charge about $400 in labor, and that seems excessive to me -- but I am not sure...?

Ditto with me. My estimate was $425. Negotiated to $375. Total time on job was 1 1/2 hours. The hot surface ignitor part didn't look that expensive. I feel I got hosed, but what do you do when the heat goes out?
