Question Furnace Blower Cycles When Running

I Have A Cloeman DES 80 horizontal house furnace. Model#289oe566. Every so often in the middle of the night the furnace kicks on (burning away)., then the fan starts to run for a few seconds and quits. Then the fan will start again, each time running loner until it reaches it temp. After it completes the cycles and is shut down and the fan comes on two or three more times again for a few seonds. There are no adjustments on the switches. Is the fan switch going bad? Or do they call this a thermo disc? Furnace only seems to do this in the middle of the night.

Whatever component cycles the fan is the probable cause and its a little unlikely you'de have to have an OEM part. Be sure and get the same rated part

the Fan control, Part #2844A3171 seems to be special to that model... If it is a snap disk, you may be able to get from an appliance dealer. But I would try like heck to get the OEM first.

Thanks! It looks like a black plastic bracket with a quarter size sensor in it. It has two wires to it. It doesn't say anything on it.
