One more question
I know I have posted the same question for some time now and ya'll are probably getting tired of me. Just for anybody who hasnt read my post on this subject here it is.
When my A/C unit comes on my condenser fan does not start, however when you spin it, it will run and the a/c works. The fan motor run capacitor is good (I had it tested).
OK here is my question....What all makes the fan "start" the capacitor is good like I said...all the connections are good as far as I can see. The fan motor runs fine when started...could I still need a fan motor? The contact looks fine (to me)......
Thanks again Mlaaw

If the capacitor is good - you motor's start winding is probably burn't out. The capacitor alond with the start winding causes an electrical imbalance which causes the motor armature to turn.
Best to have it checked by a contractor
