Question a/c

i have water coming in ceiling,and drain has hardly ever had water drain.the plenum is water soaked?

Have to assume your ahu is in the attic. Either the drain is plugged at the drain pan, at the trap or in th drain line itself (a double "trap" maybe?) If you have a pan under the unit then the float limit switch may be kaput

cut the drain

blow it out, if problem persists evap drain pan may be rusted through, how old?

has been blown out.unit is 24?does not really look like pan is rusted through.3 tech's have looked,no mention of that problem.all want to replace unit.

24 years old ?

take the cover off the coil compartment, and check the pan. if no one has disturbed the coil (repositioned it, maybe if changing the furnace) my money is on rusted pan. if unit were freezing up, due most likely to low charge or restricted airflow, water will overflow the pan......but 24 yrs old, i still say the pan....let us know
