Need speed control for whole-house fan
There is a whole-house fan (Emerson model WH30FM0) installed in the 2nd floor ceiling (into the attic) - when we bought the house, the speed control was shot, and the previous owner "repaired" it by replaced it with a simple on-off switch.
It works fine, but I would like to be able to control the speed.
I have tried to find a replacement control from Emerson, but they seem to be out of the whole-house fan business. I assume I could buy a generic control from another manufacturer. It is 120V, 60 cycle AC, 5.9 amp.
I can't seem to find any vendor that sells this sort of control.
Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Doug
