Hello! My question is,is it a DIY job replacing the Refrigerant in my Home Air Conditioner? If Yes,what tools would I need? What precautions should I take before attempting this? If No, Could I buy the R-22 refrigerant and have someone else install it? What would this cost? Our A/C is turned up as high as it goes and no cool air is coming out. I don't know anything about these things. That is why I came here,to learn and find out all of the ins & outs of working on these things. Funds are low,would'nt you know it? At least,we don't live on the East Coast. We both have Medical conditions and must be careful of the heat. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!!:confused:

Installing slant fin dummy board over existing pipe setup. Dummy board Purchased from home depot. Now baseboard does not have movable brackets. How do I get the board flush in the corner of walls where pipe is close to floor and will not move? Also, ok to secure with sheetrock screws into studs??? Any tips on location of screws...top or bottom???
