Let it snow!

Dragon and I were talking about the weather, and how that he's getting freezing rain and ice down in Ark. We here in Cincinnati are getting our 1st snow fall and expected to get about 4"-10' of fluff.

People here go into panic mode whenever snow is mentioned and it's funny. They buy up everything off the shelves and close schools before it even starts.

What's it like where you live?

Its pretty much the same here in NE NJ. Total panic at the HD, and food stores. In the end its been a while since we've been really hammered. I guess its good to be prepared tho...

Started snowing about 630am. Should snow all day and night from the looks of it. Forecaster said close to 5 inches or even more. Now we have snow with a 1/4 inch of ice under it. Treacherous driving conditions.

IF your favorite beverage is coffee or hot chocolate then I suppose not. Neither one are good with ICE. Beer either(MY FAVORITE)..it just needs to be ICE cold. Gotta cool off the dragon flames

8 and more years ago we would get 6 to 10 inches of snow, and 15 to 20 years ago, we would get 10 to 20 inches of snow. Now, we get NOTHING!!!
If we do get snow, its 1 inch at most, and melts soon. I hate it and allways will.

It's 76 degrees and cloudy at 5:15 pm and might get a little rain tomorrow afternoon and Friday, then turning cold on Christmas day - high of only about 62.

1982 Hello? 22

But funny post though Annete. I agree. I am still quite young, but I aint blind either. I grew up with old parents. NO NO, I aint calling them old because they were adults and I was not. They were actually old! Mom was 50 something and Dad was 40 something. When they died mom was like 76 and dad was 66. So I know what the old life is about. I aint like all these other kids who think they know it all and don't listen to old fokes and get into drugs and die in car wreks.

I have learned alot from mom and dad. Yet, I have still made many mistakes in my 22 year life. But, hopefully thats over now. It feels over, but I guess it mistakes never end. At least getting in trouble with the law is completely over.

Weather update. Now they're saying 70 on Christmas, but probably rainy.

Love the snowflakes falling.

Your name is Annette not Annete

And you are so right. Thses flakes, yet sentamental, are really reaking havac as you subscribed to the problem. But Sharp Advice has already dealt with it and hopefuly will be corected soon.
(Flakes no need to be talked about anymore. I am closing on the flakes. There will be no flakes). <<<< My sceinfeld Ripoff.

I am sorry that happened to you. That is the kind of thing that you don't want to happen to a car like that. Mabie a Tarp would have been a good choice. Yes, I know, too late Chris. But I was thinking, if you could melt that snow off of the car and get a tarp over it now, that would greatly extend the life of the car. Keeping out of the weather is the best thing you can do right now even if you could not get to it before.
