Modern Marvels on History Channel...

Isn't it amazing how this show makes the most mundane stuff in the universe seem beyond cool? I was watching the history of nails the other day and found myuself fascinated by it. I would love to know thier secret in doing this, so that way I can make my job seem more interesting.

One of my favorite programs, too, Hirsch. Too many reruns, tho; wish they would get some new episodes.

I love all those shows also. You should see my wife when she walks into the room and asks what I'm watching.

Wife: What's on ??

Me: The history of nails honey. It's great.

Wife: You are not seriously watching an hour long show on the history of nails are you??

Me: Oh honey, you have to watch this, it's amazing.

Wife: It's the history of nails... Dear, you need to get out more. Goodnight.

Found it highly amazing that colonial homeowners burned down their houses during the Westward Expansion to retrieve the nails. Guess that they didn't have Century 21 to help them sell the house so they could buy new nails when they moved west.
