clear day?

Oh my…The sun is out, been so long since I have seen it. The rain stopped for today, I am excited. All the water has flooded so many people’s basements and they lost so much stuff. I can’t wait for summer, then I will want to be outside all the time and the rain will be warm so it won’t matter if its raining.

Then when the heat pours in during the summer time...we (in CA) cry for it cool down or say it would be nice if we had rain. I hate it when it's extremely hot. You have to run the air all day and night (bill goes way up), you sweat, smell...don't want to do too much b/c it's way too hot... I love the rain! Where are you located?

I always like to see it rain enough to keep everything green but I don't fair well if I get cooped up indoors for several days. For whatever reason being outdoors always seems to put me in a better mood.

There's ducks in my backyard
I'm serious
The water is backing off a few feet since it stopped raining (it's floodsville up here), and it came within a few feet of us evac'ing
We've been watching all the homeless little woodland critters scampering from the flooded woods into our backyard
-even quail

But the ducks yesterday, that was too much
He brought friends this morning

I have seen the news reports and hope you get some relief with no major damage. Isn't strange how one part of the country will have drought conditions and another floods

It's raining again
Hopefully the two days of sun helped

The thing is, last month we were having brush fires because of the drought....

I must have missed the story, but surely the rains and flooding in the NE are George Bush's fault, right?

Of course....isn't EVERYTHING his fault? NO!

We should all switch places for a while. It's nice here but I still would enjoy some rain.

Move to the Praries! 40 degrees below in the winter with a howling wind and 90 degree plus days in the summer. Awesome springs and brilliant falls.

Few disasters except the odd tornado, blizzard, lightning storms and hail, which really aint that bad.
