Vh1 Rock Honors

Did any one catch the VH1 ROCK HONORS wednesday at 9pm?
if so how was it I taped it. I loved it the bands were QUEEN,JUDIAS PREST,DEF LEPPARD,KISS
with tributs by The foo fighters doing Queens TIE YOUR MOTHER DOWN. Godsmack doing 2 judas preast songs including HELL BENT OF LEATHER. You had the all american rejects doing Def lepperds PHOTOGRAPH. Then a SUPER GROUP that fetured TOMMY LEE,SLASH, ROB ZOMBIE, ACE FREHLEY they did KISS's GOD OF THUNDER. Than kiss took the stage and did DETROIT ROCK CITY. You should have seen it. Did you know that the drummer for Def Lepperd has only one arm.

Yes, he lost it in an accident years ago
There was no question about him returning to the group as a drummer during his recovery
He started working on his foot technique while rehabilitating
(his left foot takes over for his missing hand using pedals)
I remember when it happened, it was a pretty big deal-they were still selling tremendous amounts of records at the time
A friend of mine is on tour with them right now as a drum tech

It was an inspiring story, and still is
