Hadn't really noticed wish I wasn't stuck with dial up but then maybe I'd spend to much time on the internet if I wasn't tying up the phone

I don't log out either, the website can tell whether you're on line. As I read your post, you were shown off line.

This site has a refrigerator light bulb switch built into it. If you close the window the light goes out.

Invisible is an option you can use. It's in your settings/options. Your light will not show when you are invisible. Certain people CAN tell when you are on though.

LOL...

You know when your green light is on next to your "name"? Well I guess you have the option to let others no if you are on or not. So you can actually be on this site but your green light is off. I think I'm making the option up as I can't find it anymore.

If you are invisible, you will NOT show up as a guest. The only difference is that the green light (stating that you are in the Forums) will not be on. I think they removed the invisible mode for members and Mods. Members and Mods who were invisible before the change took place are still allowed to stay that way.

Couldn't find an option for invisibility in my CP, I think majak may be right that is was removed from those who weren't using it. I still can't see a reason to use it.

Not quite correct Lex. I can see if you are on, even if invisible. I can also tell by your light next to your name. It is red if you are invisible.

You and I don't see red dots, we're not of sufficient rank. My current understanding is only the super 2 mods and maybe the group mods see the red dots.

I dunno anymore, but remember this thread

http://forum.doityourself.com/showthread.php?t=262841

At that time I WAS red (I see red-whether or not anyone else saw it or not)...I am no longer red...and I didn't change or modify anything AND I was a mod, not Group Mod...so...

I'm thinking something changed like Majakdragon said.
