Here we go again. I live near the Space Center and already gas lines are building. How is it looking for you Tow Guy?

Pretty ho-hum. Had a run to Tampa and back this p.m. Average traffic, no lines at the pumps; paid $2.79 in Tampa for reguluar, about .07 or .08 less than here. Looks like it's going to swing your way. I see the winds are down to 40 mph, but they expect some strengthening when it gets back over open water. BTW, great little tracking program is "Eye of the Storm 3000"; been using it for about 3 or 4 years.

Filled up on the way home at BP $2.77. BJ's was $2.72 and the line was across the parking lot. BP and 7-11 had a one car wait at each pump.

Expecting 60MPH on Wednesday. I won't put my shutters up for that.

Gas down to $2.79 this morning, no lines. I see the people down towards Miami are topping off. Looks to be a big rain event, even on the normally "dry" side (over here).

batten down the hatches guys.

I feel kinda bad. Paid $2.43 last night. 1st time it cost under $50 bucks for a fill up in a while.

$2.43/gallon almost makes it worthwhile to drive down there to fill up ($2.99/gallon near my home).

Our weather guru says we may see remnants of Ernesto later this week.
I don't see how, with it's current track, but maybe we will get a cloud or a sprinkle.

To be safe, we filled up the wife's car tonight at $ 2.34 per gallon. Mitch 17, you don't have to drive all the way to Fla. Just a little road trip to the home of the Bengals.

They sell gas at the zoo????????

[Thought I would beat DIY to the question]

So far only a little light mist here this morning. Looks like on radar the heavy stuff will get to us around mid-day.

ha ha..tow guy..thanks...No worries...I'm still out of it on this one. After different 2 responses about "Ernesto" I started thinking I'm gonna get the run around so maybe tow guy's first name was "Ernesto".

Nope. It is "The".

Light rain is here. Heavier later today with the center of the storm passing around 6:00. Expected max winds is down to 40 so we dodged the bullett.

Yeah, they're getting way more rain than we got. Think I had about 2 inches with most of it coming the day AFTER Ernie blew through due to moisture being sucked in from the Gulf.

I don't think either team looked that sharp, and I have problems pulling for either one (Go Gators). I suspect that their seasons will look a lot like last years.

Long time ago, when your AC was down, I got the idea that you were down in the boot heel. Don't know why. Oh well.

....in Tornado Alley. Me too. I'm back at the lake of the ozarks.
