I lose. Don't even much like Chrysler products.
My four wheeler is an '04 Toyota Solara and when I'm looking for a little solitude, I climb aboard a Honda VTX 1300 M/C. Peaceful because the wife won't get near it.

99 Buick Regal. I drive way too much to put gas into a pickup truck, though it would definitely be nice to have on once in a while.

I call my car beige, but the owner's manual says the name of the color has four words in it. I buy used, so I don't get to pick the color.

I prefer to drive my 76 ford f1,v-8,4x4 but will often drive my jeep cherokee if I have far to go. If my wife is along we usually take her 2003 merc, unless it snows

I'm too cheap to buy a beemer. I buy used cars and typically buy from someone I know so that I know the history on the car. My dad works at a car dealer and pulled this one aside after it came in on a trade in. I would have never picked a Buick myself, since the average Buick owner is a little older than I am, but I like the car.

GUYS ONLY: what are you driving?

GMC Jimmy and my wife has a cousin (Blazer a year apart). Makes maintenance easier and predictable (I'm lazy).

I wish a had a Porsche Turbo Cayenne 4wd SUV with over 500 hp that runs Corvettes and sporty BMWs off the road. - We all are entitled to dream car to "own" aren't we?

So, does my '88 Dodge, 3/4 ton, 4x4, 4 speed, regular cab, full length box with a 3 ton winch bumper in a medium metalic blue win a consolation prize???

The vehicle you are looking for was just bought by a 20 year old co-worker exceptin' his is a crew cab 'an a hemi.
Nice wheels except for the 35k price tag.

Edit:
Just ran out and snapped a pic for y'all.

Nice rack, GregH! (it's okay for a guy to say that to another guy, right?) But what's that white stuff all over the ground?

I can't afford a new Dodge. I've got a '02 Ford F-150 supercab, shortbox. (deep blue) I also have a matching fiberglass Leer XQ100 cap with tinted glass to hide all the supercool tools I keep in back. Just waxed and buffed it, so it looks pretty nice right now. Wouldn't you know it's supposed to rain? Murphy's law I guess.

GregH -

Just took the picture?

I guess we have a week or so to go before we get it in Minnesota.

Earliest I remember was 4" on Sept 26. - Years ago and I moved back to Minnesota!! - that is just west of the Republic of Wisconsin and 80 miles west of mitch17.

Greg, I imagine the winch is to pull out others and not yourself.

Just joking.
That was last March.
We are not too far ahead of Minneapolis in getting snow.
We'll get a wee bit shortly but Halloween is usually when it stays.

http://www.weatheroffice.ec.gc.ca/city/pages/mb-30_metric_e.html

Rack is off right now and a cap also is hiding my tools.
I've helped a few folks out with the winch as well as myself a couple of times but it does more duty just in doing chores.
It's hooked up right now to help guide a tree I'm going to cut down.
Unfortunately I spent too much time surfing and it's now dark.

(Sure be nice to get our "codes" back so we can post pics.)

Mostly my 2006 Chevy Work van. For weekends though, I have two to choose from. 2003 Harley Dyna Superglide, or my 2004 Harley V-ROD. I love weekends.

hey annette,

2006 dodge ram, 1500, 4 dr, hemi, does everything but wash the dishes or make the payments, so that is why i'm sitting here eating beans, and answering your question, it's amazing though i can hardly afford to pay attention. i guess i lose though, she is white,
but i bet she could haul a few shoes. oh by the way just kidding about the beans, just got through with a rib-eye and tater.
i thought i could play the sympathy card , but then i couldn't live my self. :]]]

Yes, M/C is short for motorcycle. The VTX is similar to the full size Harley in size, a little less power but a great cruiser. In M/C speak, a car is a cage and the drivers are cagers.

Oops, I forgot that you wanted colors. The Solara is Oceanus Pearl ( dark blue metallic with, the wfe says, a hint of green ) and the VTX is candy Apple Red metallic.

That makes me a cager. I get on a bike and look down to see the road passing by and I want my doors and fenders back.

Mitch, I got used to looking down and seeing the road at an early age. Had a '49 Chev convertible with the floorboard rusted out. Used old license plates to cover the hole.

A 99 voyaguer. How boring is that? But its extended!!
Best vehicle I've ever owned. Great for trips, can put all my tools in it and dont' need to unload them like I did with my truck, haul 4x8 sheets of wood, 16 foot baseboards, very option you could want and I only paid 5 grand for it. Yeehaw

This will probably get me drummed out of the Guy Corps - a bright red 2002 Mazda Miata convertible! I know - I know - I've heard all the gay guy jokes about Miata drivers. I drove it before I heard all that, and was immediately hooked. This little "girl's" car is quick and nimble. I used to take it to the Autocross (look it up - tight, technical race course where you run against the clock) and turn better times than cars with 3 times the horsepower. Also, I have had more cute girls tell me they "love your car", than anything else I've ever owned.

(Yes, that is a cone on my helmet - on the back is a "Jack-in-the-box" face - long story.)

I also have a 2001 GMC Yukon 4x4 - had an extended-cab Chevy 4x4 pickup that I traded when I started hauling more people, and less lumber (everybody wants to ride with Grandpa to the lake).

I hope you mean a pic of the vehicle...

Now, to start the war - if I get this right, you want to find a guy who drives a Dodge Ram pickup (extended cab - short bed - black), then you intend to call him a "winner"... Unless that is tongue-in-cheek, it will be the first time a Ram owner has been considered a winner!

I don't know Annette - big - black - extended - bed - Ram - I don't know if that makes you gay (saw your other post - couldn't resist), but it does sound like you might be ****y.

Sorry, was busy posting when you sent this - (and after that post, you probably don't want to ever hear from me again)

Anyway, Pewter Metallic (sort of a cross between gold/tan/silver) - it was a popular color that year. Stopped just short of the Denali - it has just about everything the Denali has except the different grill, and the automatic (set the temp you want) heat/A/C, and about $5 grand in the sticker.

It has: push-button selectable 4x4, Overdrive transmission with tow/haul mode, receiver hitch with full trailer wiring, transmission oil cooler, engine oil cooler, locking differential, power 4-wheel disc brakes with 4-wheel anti-lock, A/C-heat with rear seat controls/fan/vents, AM/FM/CD/Cassette, with rear seat controls and earphone jacks, power sunroof, On-star, tinted windows, 3rd seat, leather, PS, windows, locks, thermometer and compass in rear-view mirror, fog lamps, automatic load leveling rear suspension, umpteen way power seats, tilt, cruise, 5.3 liter V8, allow wheels - basically the same running gear as a Hummer H2, with .7 liter less engine (5.3 vs 6.0).

My wife likes black vehicles, but I think they show dirt too easily. Tans and greys hide it the best. My personal preference is white body and red interior, though it's getting difficult to find anything other than grey or tan interiors these days.
