Smile Smoking revisited

While I know that smoking isn't probably the samartest choice in the world, why do some cigarette manufacturers have "pull" on the foil inside the pack? I know that Marlboro and Natural American Spirit cigarettes do this, why can't they give us a little credit for common sense?

IMO if you had any common sense you wouldn't smoke. As hard as it was to "learn to smoke" it is so much harder to quit. I like to joke and say quiting smoking is easy 'cause I did it 50 times - that was about how many times it took me to be successfull at quiting.
