Parking Lot

When you go to work, you usually have a certain "spot" you park at right? Though you aren't "entitled" to it or have your name written on it...

If you've been parking there for years...aren't you pretty much "entitled" to it (yeah...in my own world right)? I have this spot I park on b/c it's the "perfect" spot. Far away from everyone else and it's next to the LAST parking space available. By available I mean the lines are drawn. Anywho...so it's far away AND less likely to be dented by any car parked next to me (right or left).

So...now...someone took MY spot! OK...I'm not entirely, overly upset over it, but it does get to me.

I have spots I consider "mine" at the grocery store, walmart,.... I do get upset when someone takes them. I also feel there should be a lane on every street and freeway only I'm allowed to use.

Of course it does. You've been parking there for years. Everyone knows that's your spot.

The only reason someone else would park there is a piss-ant, petty-a** power trip.

Rise above it all, and kindly ask the boss to hire someone to help this person, who seems at little overwhelmed, and to advise you on how to correct all the mistakes this person has been making.

I'm sure it can ruin your day. I would get to work an hour earlier.

Funny, someone does that to me as well.
I get to work an hour before most of the other staff and in a near empty 200 spot lot someone takes my place too.

Not a problem though. Park next to it then turn off the breaker to HER block heater plug.
TG should be getting a call at quiting time.

wait a minute.............you've been happily parking on purpose in the next-to-the-last spot, and you're upset that someone's taking it?!

um...........okay, how about starting to park in the very LAST spot? that way, at least one side of your car can't possibly get door-dinged, right? wouldn't that be even better?

Let me put it this way...I'm "next to the last spot" the other way. I practically made my own parking space. I'm not parked right. Everyone follows afterwards. There's about 3 cars that do the same thing I do. Does that make sense?

It happened to me today!

Not over a parking spot, but something even less important. A coat-hook. We have a row of coat hooks; everyone ALWAYS hangs their coats it the same spot.

Today, a co-worker used 'my' hook. Of course, there is nothing less important in the world, except ...

WHY would he suddenly decide to use the one I always use?

I decided it was passive-aggressive peeing on a tree so unimportant I would look a fool if I mentioned it.

Don't play this game with me. I know how to retaliate.
