Moved yer post to the chatty forum.

Hello airman,

The main difference between the moderator groups is in which forums they work in and what buttons they can push.

The topic moderators work within the topics they are assigned and have a certain ability to move and edit posts.

Group moderators have more access to the forum controls and can work within any forum topic.

Super moderators can also work within any forum topic and have more moderating functions available.
The most widely used ability is to be able to ban members.
With only a few exceptions most of the members who are banned are ones that try to advertise within the forum topics.
We often get several per day but because many of them are posted overnight and a few of us are up fairly early you don't tend to see many in the forums.

On top of all this is our fear-no-one Tom, aka Sharp Advice.
He is the head volunteer who corrals all us mods and keeps everything on track.
He has a really big button in the forum software and can
make changes as to how things work.

Since I am on a roll I'll mention the owners of our site, Internet Brands.
They have provided us with two nice folks, Lauren (dumpstadiva) and Jon (Hendriken) who help us out a lot.

Guess that's it.

Greg didn't want to mention it, but the Super Mods get paid a LOT more and they get a company car.
