can you get goggles to protect from bright lights?

can you get goggles to protect from bright lights?

Like if you are working on a car or something and using a lightbulb and you are constantly staring at the lightbulb.

Yes, you sure can but why would you.
Tinted safety glasses could be worn but it would defeat the purpose of lighting up the area.

This is why trouble lights have a shield that blocks the light on one side of the lamp.
If you are using a bare bulb it could be dangerous because of having a hot surface, the potential of cuts from broken glass or a shock hazard from an exposed filament if the bulb breaks.

Fluorescent trouble lights are very good in that they are bright and generate very little heat.

Don't do that.
