Help!! Air Mattress Leak!!

Hey everyone... I'm new here but I need help!

I borrowed a rather expensive air mattress off of my friend to go out of town on so that my fiance, daughter and I could sleep on it (obviously). Just my luck that the mattress catches a leak 3 days before we are supposed to leave. I figured out that the leak was in the seam on the corner of the mattress but I want to know the best way to fix it. My friends husband practically threatened our life if it came back with knives in it. lol Actually, there were no knives used but I'm pretty sure that the leak sprang from all the weight on it and it looks like a place that is kind of worn from refolding. So if anyone could help me I'd be extrememly grateful!! Or if you can direct me to the forum that will help me, I'd be even more greatful. THANKS!!

Welcome to the forums! If you can locate one, a water bed repair kit may work. They have pieces of heavy gauge plastic and the appropriate glue to make the repair with instructions.

There is also a kit designed to patch pool liners (probably very similar to the water bed kit) that I'd think would work.It was stocked in an Ace Hardware I worked at so I know any store would either stock it or could order it in and have it within a few days.
