reading

saw an article in my scouting magazine about women buy more books and read more than men, i find that funny because in my house it is the opposite. i read a lot more than my wife and my son reads almost as much as i do. mostly si fi, with some fiction and biography thrown in as well.
one of my favorite current authors is John Ringo, sort of Tom Clancy in si-fi. what do you all think

I don't think my wife has ever been a big reader but I was when I was young...... until life got in the way and I didn't have a lot of time to read. Now I have time but my eyesight's not so good
I struggle with newsprint but reading online isn't too bad - especially when you enlarge the size

When I was young, I read fiction
When I was a bit older I read business, bios, technical
Now I google anything that piques my interest.
My wife hasn't cracked a book in 30+ years I've known her.

The only books I read are gun books ( repair, rebuild, reload, etc.)
& DIY repair books ( when necessary ) I like to play flight simulator on the PC.
The wife has 2 books going every day- I told her if she would
stop doing the grandkids college homework ( she has 2 Masters
Degrees) she could have 3 going--if she would give up her church work, she could have 5 going....................
