Rain, rain, rain

Any fellow Floridians ready for some dry weather??? I know we had a very dry winter and are in a long-term drought, but GEEZ, I poured 4" out of the rain gain yesterday. Must have gotten 10" this month and more rain the forecast.

That's WHY they have a river. Hey, TG, looks like you have either feast or famine down there. But on the bright side, Hurricane season is just around the corner

Ya, I don't miss fla, I always said it had to many 2s.
2 flat, 2 crowded, 2 humid, 2 many tourists

We've been getting a good bit of rain also. After 3 yrs of drought [1 yr severe] we are getting normal amounts of rain..... but it seems abnormal after the drought

Gunguy - isn't arizona always dry?

No, no, no; Arizona is always hot (but it's a dry heat).

Has that Florida warrant expired yet? Beer 4U2

Only got 1/2" today. Nine days and counting. Guess it's time for my annual prediction, which by the way was 93% accurate last year.

Ahem, predictions from the TG Hurricane index:

13 Named storms
7 Hurricanes
4 Storms will make landfall as hurricanes
1 Cat 3 hurricane will make landfall
37 Deaths
North Carolina will be hardest hit for season

Remember you heard it here first. Beer 4U2

Actually..they talk about "monsoon season" around here...threw me for a loop first time I heard it.
I spent way to much time in real monsoons to think whats here is even close. VA had rain showers as heavy as what they call monsoons. It rains hard..but only lasts 10 minutes. Ground can't absorb it..flash floods everywhere.

Was in Yuma (MCAS) one time when it "monsooned" about knee deep all over town.
