Nice Cop

Cop pulled me over yesterday AM ( driving wife to work )
" do you know why I pulled you over"
Yes..............
" you had plent of time to stop for that red light" ( that was bs
but cops are always right)
She came back & said " where is the gun "
I said that I was not carrying a gun today & saw no reason to show a CCW..................
She came back again & said " because you are a Dearborn resident & have no points- I will let you off with a warning"
(she probably thought this old guy in pj, slippers, unshaved,etc-can't pay the ticket anyway)
I thanked her & told her that we would vote yes on the next
police appropriations.
As we drove away the wife said " in 46 years I have never seen you so nice "
Hey, hon-------$150.00 buys a lot of bullets....................

Why did she ask if you were carrying? Did she run you on the computer?

Besides..why would you volunteer you were carrying..unless they asked you to get out of the car of course...then its better than eating asphalt or possibly getting shot.

I always found a CURRENT PBA sticker on the back window worked wonders when I was younger and out until all hours.

@Gun
In MI -- your CCW is shown in Secy of State data base on your drivers lic & the lic
plate of your car.
You must inform officer if you are carring & show CCW............

Interesting..wasn't aware of that rule up there...not that I've been in that area in 20 yrs.

On the lic plate? Jeez that seems dumb...kinda like a sign in your yard that says.."I Own Guns"...please break in while I'm not home.

Though with your setup..don't think anything will go anywhere.

Hey..are you passing your stuff down to your kids? Want to adopt me? LOL

Had a county sheriff here (elected office) that during an interview explained if you shoot an intruder and he doesn't fall on your property be sure to drag him back on your property before calling the sheriff's office.

ray...I know you know better than what that DA (not district attorney) told you. Forensics is too good for that nowadays.
