Looks like a Mini Cooper on steroids. Looks like enough front clearance for my wheel lift, though.

Well at least the car in your picture isn't gray. Geeze just don't like gray cars and it seems like almost every car you see is gray. I'd love to own a PT Cruiser but first I have to get together enough extra money to play the lottery (and win) so I'll be able to afford one.

Ack! Ray...a PT Cruiser? What a POS...have you looked at how they are built...exposed brackets for the seats...cheap interior materials..doors sounded like they were made of tinfoil..etc...
We almost bought one..my wife really liked it..but that was like the 2nd year they were out..still way underpowered....I just couldn't go for it.

Though the convertible does kinda look like fun. I think I'd go with a VW Cabriolet for that though.

Ahh ta each his own though right? Not ragging...JMHO. And I'm pretty soured on ANY Chrysler product....

Never had much luck with any but Chevrolet but the HHR is so much worse then the PT Cruiser I can't see going with it. Of course if I could find one I'd love a 40's or early 50's Chevy panel truck but I'll bet many here don't even know what a panel truck is. Vans killed them.

EPA 24/30??? If I'm going to ride around in a shoe box, no offence, I at least want some real comfort at the pump. I read about a vw in europe getting in the 50/60 range. Shouldn't we be looking for the same?

OH...you don't think we know....lol...ray ray ray...Panel trucks are the bomb! So many different makers sold them until some DA came up with the van concept! Personally, I love the old..hmm (Dodge, Chevy?) with the pickup bed..

Some of the European ones are def cool. And yer right aboout the HHR..only briefly looked at a few when they came out...better looking than the PT (to me) but no better built.

Seriously think thats what the Kia and Scion are trying to re-create.

I always thought the PT/HHR was a good concept, but they need small block V8's under the hood driving some nice wide tires on the (RWD) back end. Beer 4U2

PT Cruiser; Neon in drag.

But the most difficult engineering/design job was performed by the guy who designed the Scion.
Basically he went to his boss's office with a soda cracker box, attached two sets of wheels, and took his bonus money to the bank.

Probably he was the boss's brother-in-law. The boss figured it would be a total failure and he'd finally have an excuse his wife would accept to fire the brother-in-law.
