My thoughts exactly. Usually you see this with the boat in the water and tow vehicle back-end getting soggy. Here's an oldie but a goodie:

Hey, Bud, you've done that, too?!!! I found out after I was cranked and ready to go. Oh, you gotta get some speed up for it to reverse itself if you have a small boat with no bilge. Then shut it down and jump back to put in the plug. Aaah the adventures of growing up.
But the long legged shorts and black socks.....I thought sure he was from Florida (that's how we tell them apart here during the migration season).
Looks like a Canadian tag on the trailer. Uh-oh, here we go, Greg will be along for sure!

Maybe he was actually returning from a day at sea and got stuck backing out once the prop came out of water!

Someone sent me an email, or someone here posted it about an older couple that were boating and couldn't get any speed up on their new boat. So they took it to the marina and everything above board checked out. They sent a diver to check the underside and once he came up gasping for air, he relayed to his boss the problem.
They had launched the boat, trailer and all.
Hey, I don't make these things up.

I can think of a dumber sports injury. One pitcher who if the writers have an IQ above -7 will make Hall of Fame first year eligibleand will soon pitch for the Red Sox burned his chest by ironing a shirt while wearing it.
