Welcome to the forums!

Spam is any deliberate attempt at advertising. Some will try to include their advertising in an otherwise allowed post. All advertising in the forums will be removed and the offending member banned!!

Occasionally links will be allowed if they pertain to the question and the link is for info and not advertising.

Why do you ask?

Another key is a product link embedded in the post from some one with a post count of 1.

A general member doesn't need to decide If you think it's spam, report it and a super mod will make the decision.

Spam in the forums = unpaid advertising.

Most of the spam is never seen by the general members because the Mods have already spotted them. Probably the number one spam subject is any and all variety of DVD/video/iPhone/ad-nauseum conversion software, the posters of which are instantly banned.
