Did Someone Trip Over The cord?

Did someone trip over the extension cord to DIY's servers this morning? They really ought to duct tape that thing down so nobody accidentally yanks the plug out again.

At least I had someone's e-mail address here to find out if they also had the problem, and that it wasn't with my computer.

Then I figured it must be Sharp Advice, trying to make improvements to the board.

Luckily Dave confirmed with me we weren't 1) going crazy or 2) the hamster died that was providing power to the server.

Having this board go down is somewhat traumatic. A person doesn't realize how good we got it til we don't got it. And some of the married guys here might have to do chores around the house off some honeydo list, if one can't retort, "Can't you see I'm busy trying to help people out here, dear?!" Eh, Larry?

Precisely!!! Had to clean kitchen, feed the dogs, then we sat down for a movie which she slept through. "Anatomy of a Murder" with Jimmy Stewart she got off Netflix.

Sadly, I also get more done around the house when the broad is down. Much to the shock of the wife.

Yeah, like right now, it could go down and I'd not miss it. I've got to unload my truck from the jobsite today, in preparation of 5 more inches of the "S" word. Hunker down Marksr, s'posed to last all day tomorrow.

The dark secret is we watch for certain members and when we see them coming we turn off the lights and pull down the shades.

For us up here in my neck of the woods we have now set an all time record since they have been keeping weather statistics since the 1800's. No snow for us this year in the month of March. (Unless it snows before midnight that is. I doubt it, the computer temp says 75 out right now. Ahhhh. I was driving around with my 40-degree AC on today. Ahhhhhh.)

Second wettest month on record here; I dumped over 10" out of my rain gauge during the month (3" on Sunday).

No snow here as mentioned. Now I am trying to think if it rained. I think all we had is a little drizzle. Probably got something like. 034275 inches or some near immeasurable amount. We have had some absolutely gorgeous days where all blue sky and no wind and mild to warm temps. Ahhhhhhhh. And no bugs. Today was actually too hot for me. Not used to 75 yet.

February was the snowiest month on record and March was the rainiest month on record here.
It would have to be a lot hotter than 75 for me to put the air conditioner on. Brrrrrrr!!!!

Funny, if ,I'm walking 1/2 a mile in jeans, a t-shirt and workboots in 35 degree weather, steam comes off my back.

Is that only if your car breaks down and leaves you stranded, cause I mean I could understand that.

Or are you just like one of those monks that can dry out a sheet soaked in ice water in freezing temperature?

The walks are for exercise and the steam was caused by perspiration on my back being hotter than the air. It does look kind of strange, like I am smoking a cigarette even though I am an ex-smoker.

Ok. I'm getting dizzy. I think it's your doubled up Tazmanian Devil avatar. Kindly avoid doing that in the future?

:Take One:

LOL mick.
Like the pic under your statemnet. There is one sentence I have said to myself too many times to count over the years. It is "It isn't worth an assault charge".
