time change

I just noticed and remembered that this site has a problem with the time change twice each year

So to get the site time correct we have to go to user CP and change our time zone location to reflect the correct time. You'd think if I can figure out how to set the clock in the car [gave up on the VCR] the techs could figure it out on this site

I gave up on the techs on the forums. It's too simple. They have bigger fish to fry.
But that's OK, I feel better since our pastor has one of those "smart clocks" that take into consideration DST. He set his clock ahead so he would be on time......Well the clock set it ahead, too, so he was an hour early to church this morning. Just glad it didn't happen in the fall.
Vic, y'all don't change, right? Rebels.

So Vic are you trying to say that this site doesn't recognize day light savings time either

I hate DST

I'm going to stand on principle and refuse to make the change

So Mitch...will you always be late or early for things? lol

Cause you realize...if you even adjust mentally...you're caving!

I'll tell ya...though it cuts down on things I have to do (resetting all the clocks)...it makes calling family or remembering when races/tv shows will be on quite a bit more difficult. And I have to remember thats when I'm supposed to change the smoke batteries...

I'm with Mitch, I detest daylight saving time; always have and always will.

I have two seven-day wind-up clocks and it is a REAL pain to set the chiming one backwards. I never did set the bedroom clock back so it is now reading correctly for the first time in months.

And then there is the clock built in to the television. It has an "automatic set" setting but if I use it the clock doesn't begin to be anywhere near correct, same with one of my video recorders but the other one works just fine with the auto clock set. Go figure.
