Forum Problem

Every time I post I get the "Duplicate Post" popup. The post does successfully go through.

Yes, it's been reported to the tech team.

Must not have had anything go wrong for a long period of time so the techs had to fix something that wasn't broken. Gotta justify the job, guys!
And I have no intention of posting a poll......what's that?

What's a poll? I don't know if it's enabled on this site but it's a multiple choice feedback box that sits at the top of a new thread and responders can vote on choices that are determined by the thread starter.
Once you vote, every time you view the thread, you see the current status of the results displayed in place of the voting box.

I want to paint my kitchen do you guys think I should use:

color a
color b
color c
other.

Posters can vote and then post underneath like a regular thread.
It's a wacky thing. Obviously the admins saw no need for enabling it. Kinda not really needed for this sites theme.

As far as the issue being discussed, I've learned to periodically select and copy a long post before hitting submit.

Now I'm getting a blank page after posting. Trying a refresh doesn't change anything but if I go back to my bookmarks and go through the motions of connecting to the forum (I'm still logged in at this point) my reply is there for all the world to see.

Hey guys....it's being worked on. We're all having the same type of problems.

Quickest way I found to work around it is when you submit and get the blank page...just hit back, then use the menu bar to go to todays posts or new posts. Or just back up the page where you clicked the link to the thread and remember to ignore the one you replied to.

Your posts/replies ARE being posted....it's just being wonky right now.

Not sure how the techs hours are on weekends..so don't be surprised if not much happens til Monday...
