Modifying a large business sign on a pole

A non-profit group I work with has just rented a building that used to belong to a Real Estate company. There's a 14'x6' two-sided pole sign for that compant that we'd like to change, but don't really want to spend thousands of dollars to do that.

Does anyone have any thoughts as to economical ways to either cover over the existing sign or modify the faces?

Thanks...

I've seen lots of new businesses use temporary signs which appear to be something like a white plastic tarp with the new company's logo printed on it. They simply leash the new tarp sign over the old sign. That usually suffices until they get their sign company to permanently replace the former sign. A similar approach might work for you.

We've changed the one outside our office by having it washed and painted differently - got some resistance, as the company obviously wanted to sell us a new sign instead

I have had outdoor banners printed. Many online places offer the service. You just create your sign and submit the file and select the size, material, grommets... Since they are digitally printed there is no extra charge for colors or artwork. It's quite easy to get something professional looking on a budget.

Buy colored paints of your choice - and stencils.

Thank you!

Thanks for all your ideas! I'll ask around and see what might be feasible.
