How do I post attachments in these forums?

I've sent this message to the forum admins three times and never got a response:

The instructions for the forum say to post attachments: "... below the message box, you will find a button labelled 'Manage Attachments' "

There is no such button on my browsers (IE and Firefox).

"Posting Permissions" say "You may not post attachments"

I know there is an Insert Image button on the toolbar, but it requires that I upload an image to another server.

I occasionally want to include and image in my post. Other members do it. How do I post attachments?

Attachments have not been allowed for quite a while. The instructions you read may be generic (the company has many other sites) or simply outdated. As you found out..you need to upload to one of the many photo hosting sites....

Oh, so the Insert Image button will allow me to display an image in the post rather than just a link to the image?

Thanks!

You have to choose the right info..."img" I think it's called? But yes.... I think thats right. I copied this from a commercial site by choosing copy image location....different for places like Photobucket I think...experiment a bit..you'll get it...
