Isn't it funny...(Scrambled Eggs or Omelets)

Isn't it funny how often planned omelets turn into scrambled eggs with add-ins?

Yes, this was in Recipes, so I moved it here. I probably should have moved it to the corn field.

This has got to be the oddest threadjack ever on this site. A poster comments about food in the food forum and replies are all about TV.

When I read the omelet question I took it to be a legitimate comment about making omelets. Who hasn't made scrambled eggs out of an omelet?

BTW - NEsportsfan - It's all about the right heat, the right pan and the right spatula.

Found that the frying pan I was using was too small for a 4 egg omelet. For a cheddar omelet, it sure tastes good for it to be on a plate covered with salsa.

Yep, the bigger the pan, the faster it cooks as it spreads out more. There is also less chance of it burning while it cooks to the top. I put the lid back on so it cooks really fast and from the top. I also use Olive Oil in the bottom of the pan. (As if I have a clue about cooking. People laugh that the only recipe I know is the phone number of the local pizza place.)

Funny, I presume, as in not ha ha funny, but as in it is sad when one can't even cook eggs right. Right? Nothing wrong with having scrambled eggs though. I wouldn't mind having an omlette-ingredient, scrambled egg dinner.

But did the turkey turn out good, that is the question, considering what day it is today. My turkey was kinda dry today. I recently learned about brined turkeys. That sounds like the way to go, IMO. I like it when food can just slide down, with minimal chewing, and without having to wash it down with milk.
