Wow, I didn't even know it was gone....... but a few over use it so that might be why.

I do note the clickable version is gone, but you can always use the cloud in the header once you click on "reply".

How do you over use reply with quote? I found it very handy to use. Now I have to do all sorts of cut and paste to quote using the quote bubble.

Some, mostly new members, use the quote/reply button with every post. You might not have noticed it because the mods go behind them and remove the unneeded quotes.

I'm not sure why it's gone but what Mark is talking about was many members would copy an entire post into their reply when that was not necessary - I have spent a lot of time removing that over the years.

Sometimes I find someone's quote unnecessary, but I choose not to read it. It's easy enough to find the new post. I have never even thought that people quoted too much. I find the removal of the reply with quote button a huge inconvenience.
