Awesome lolly column oulet.

It was such a pain in the butt taking out an extension cord and dragging it around my basement to do things. So I decided to put an outlet on one of my lolly columns. What do you guys think of my awesome DIY work? Lolly Collumn Outlet

All receptacles in an unfinished basement are required to be GFCI protected.

You need to paint the cable to match the receptacle.

It appears way too low to me. It should be mounted high enough to double as a back scratcher.

Mmmmmm - that's the spot.

I would have strung a couple of more receptacles in the circuit to have more outlets available.
