Brain Cramp Here

If a formula calls for 2 gallons per 100 gallons, what would the ounces be per gallon? I've come up with 2.56 ounces, not sure if that is correct.

Thanks

128 oz per gallon. 1280/256 or 5 oz per gallon. That is unless my grand daughter was wrong.

Your ratio is 50/1

You are correct in your numbers....

Larry....she was wrong....it's 12800 oz for 100 gal. And now that 5oz figure is really off!

Vic, before I send the kid to summer school, are you sure on the numbers. Using your calculator and the 50:1, I get 256 oz, not 2.56.

I believe you figure how many oz in 2 gal. and 100 gal.

12800oz / 256oz = 50

128oz / 50 = 2.56oz

Probably there is a simpler way but that's how I figured it.

Thanks guys!

It is 2.56. The formula calls for 2%. Two percent of 128 oz. Is 2.56.
