Adhesive commercial

Saw a PowerGrab ad on TV....

They put a bead on a 2-3' shelf then stuck it to the wall and put a few books and knick-knacks on it. Looked like a typical painted sheetrock wall. What happens when the paper or paint tears off?

Seriously? I mean the stuff does have its uses...but holding up shelves all by itself isn't one of them.

The thought of all the idiots who are going to try to stick shelves to the wall like that makes me laugh.

Like the superglue ad where they super glue 2 bungee cords together and jump off a bridge.

Mythbusters did a superglue show. I was impressed.

Don't recall having seen that power grab commercial but I think a lot of today's commercials have comical value

I like Powergrab. But I don't put it through things like they say it will do. It will hold up chair rail molding until I can slam a nail in it. I'm happy.
