Too many years ago when I was a young, single and stupid, A shipmate and I spent the afternoon in a dive in St Thomas. The place was a dump but the bartender was a top drawer hottie. We spent the afternoon trying to convince her what a great time we could have after she got off work.

She was friendly enough but it was obvious she wasn't interested so we decided to get a free drink or two from her. That wasn't going too well either until my buddy decided to impress her by eating one of the B52 looking cockroaches wandering around the bartop. These guys were huge and they struuted across the bar with an attitude. While it really grossed her out, she did buy us a round.
