I prefer the filling and since this machine destroys that I say what an incredible waste of time and talent. I'll bet I can separate and scrape the brown cookies faster by hand than he can drop full cookies on the the starting plate of his machine.

Love the mini-CNC router for actually removing the creme. Me? I toss them whole into my mouth.

Maybe I'm just too old and wore out With all the things that need doing and not enough energy to get it all done, I couldn't imagine dedicating that much time to something that I'd not get any real use out of.

Sir Edmund Hillary was asked the same question regarding Mt. Everest. His response....."because it was there".

I believe this was instigated by Oreo and that there will be more to come.

...well, to do it, you unscrew it; 'cause a kid'll eat the middle of an Oreo first and save the chocolate cookie outsides for last.

Except I would often just toss the outside cookie. When I was a kid I had a Siamese cat that liked the cookie part. I loved it when they came out with the Double Stuff. I would try my best to separate the cookies with the filling all on one side and then sandwich them together making a quadruple stuff. Tossed the extra brown cookies.

Some time later I read a review of a book that was supposed to give the ingredients of "secret" recipes. This book stated the secret ingredient in the Oreo filling was Crisco. That wasn't enough to stop me but I haven't had an Oreo for years.

I liked the machine but thought it was a terrible waste of the filling. I actually like the filling better as I always have liked frosting. The double stuff Oreos are even better. You should see how I eat cake you might think I didn't like my cake as I wasn't eating it. Not true I eat the inside first and then I eat the icing!

I went to Target last night and they had Oreos on sale. I looked long and hard before walking away.

Guy at work has a package of Birthday Cake Oreos on his desk - they smell like cotton candy so I've had no trouble staying away from them.

I think this is a great idea. If only I had the time and money (the bigger issue) to make one. Although I'd want to eat the cream and the cookie. And, Furd, I am jealous of your cat.

Don't you hate it when the cookie breaks apart in the glass cause you let it sit for a second too long in the milk. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WHY DID IT HAVE TO HAPPEN MY LIFE IS OVER.

No need to be jealous, Doc died long before you were born. I never let him eat more than a quarter of the cookie, chocolate is not good for cats; dogs either.
