What are they thinking?

I am not a "profiler" by any means, but if this guy comes to my table and says, "Hi, I'm Charles, and I'll be waiting on you tonight", I'd puke. Where does he work? Is his cell phone wired permanently to his ear canal? How does he eat? If mom had seen this, she would have been even more proud of the way I turned out.

Weirdly...just took a cat to the vet for shots. Both girls at the front counter had the ear things (dunno what they are are called) neck tats and sleeves.

They were nice and I didn't judge....but sorry...the pic posted, I would walk out.

How does he blows his nose? I guess swimming underwater and headphones are out of the question. Do you think he only lays on his back to sleep? How much do you think that haircut cost? Do you think birds occasionally perch in his lobe hoops when he is outside?

Young folks nowadays think they all need tattoos and piercings in shall we say unmentionable places. I just don't understand it I could see maybe one tattoo but I never wanted one. Now though it seems the young kids have all gone piercing crazy. I wouldn't doubt if this guy is in a gang at least it allegedly looks that way.

I've never understood "body art" and look upon it as body mutilation. I remember as a kid the pictures of natives in the National Geographic and also classroom films showing what were referred to as "primitive tribes" that used tattoos, scarification and other such mutilations. As far as I am concerned this latest trend is nothing more than turning back the clock thousands of years.

I knew a young woman that had most of her back covered in ink. It was a fairly stupid picture but there was no doubt the artist who drew the original did have great talent. She was quite proud of her back yet she could never see it except in a mirror or by looking at a picture. Why?

A friend of my wife told of the experience when she was in her 20s of wanting to get a tattoo of a butterfly on her chest. The tattoo artist was very well respected in his field and even talked her out of it saying it will look like a butterfly until you are 50, then it will look like a dragon Skin does funny things as we age.

That guy's liable to be tripping over his earlobes when he's 70.

That's pretty gross, and I'm not opposed to small piercing's and tats.

The problem with this sort of thing is (as Larry and John mentioned), that while they can get away with it (to a degree that is) when they're young, they're gonna regret what they did when they get older and everything's hanging to the floor!

And good luck in a job interview anywhere but a tattoo/piercing studio.

I sure hope they have to pay any medical bills related to that stupidity in later years, infections, removals, repairs. Skin cancer is a risk we all face with age and it sure looks like body art would increase that risk if anything.

I suppose it would be for the same reason you comb your hair.

You've never seen my hair! I get a hair cut about four times a year, when it gets so long as to make me ill. In between haircuts I just take a few swipes with a brush IF I am leaving the house.

And yes, I DO have a full head of hair.
