Almost Funny >Extreme Weather & Snow Drifts<

If it wasn't so disgusting it'd probably be funny. Not sure how I'm gonna get out, snow is drifted up to the window.....

Doesn't look good for the fishing opener in a few weeks. Anyone have a shovel?

I think it's extremely funny.
I live a fair ways north of you folks and it's mild and pissing rain (need any rain btw, selling it cheap).

My laughing will change quickly Saturday. We're expecting snow.

The snow you will be getting is the same system that hit us. You're welcome.

Got about a half inch of rain overnight; little warm for snow, though.

As much as I appreciate the kind gesture... You can keep it.
We got about 3 inches last weekend and a huge dumping of rain yesterday and today.
We actually had a flood warning yesterday. They said flooding in certain areas was expected.

Neighbors were coming back from house hunting in Austin TX early this week. Got trapped in Winslow AZ when they closed 180 miles of I40 due to snow. Basically from just near me to Winslow. There's only one small town between us and Flagstaff and I think about the same between Flagstaff and Winslow....so they just eliminated any chance of strandings and closed it all. Flagstaff got 12-14".

Some weird stuff I'll tell ya.

Weather service says we got 18". Temperature now is 29 so it's nice and heavy. Time to snowblow I guess.

Had to cut 4 1/2 acres of grass yesterday.....78 degrees. Will be 36 tonight. Nothing very stable about where we are, but not as extreme as you guys. Wife pots plants for the garden. Take them to the deck....bring them back inside....take them back to the deck..... I would appreciate either winter or summer, but the "iffy" weather wears me out.

Hope you still have that plow on. For you fine folks down there, only a couple inches up here....

Snow, mainly before 5am. The snow could be heavy at times. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches possible.

Should make for an interesting 7 PM Twinkies game at Target field tonight.

Yeah, supposed to be in the 60s by this weekend. It better be it.

I don't care anymore, I'm gonna just sit in the house and eat till it melts.

Baldwin -

Great meal pictured for many reasons. - I have a can that I use.

I scanned a label and changed the name of the soup and put the new one back on. I also added "With Garlic" for a finishing touch. It works to get rid of guests even with 12" of fresh snow coming down outside.

Someday, I will get enough courage to get some at a church dinner somewhere served by the little old ladies.

We're getting more tonight as well. Not 4-8" but enough to make me unhappy.

I would say thanks T.I., but I had to drive my summer car to work (wife needed the van).
It's going to be a very long (slow) drive home if we actually get what they are asking for.
If we got 4-8" of snow, I wouldn't even bother trying to leave the office parking lot.

Ya sure, you betcha. All we eat here is lukefisk and Spam.

Trying to envision how goetta tastes, lots of spices in the pork/beef I hope....with oats??

I think we can close the book on this eternal winter after tonight, couple inches. Sure hope we have a nice warm fall.

Well... Our bit of snow didn't accumilate, but did make one heck of a mess out of the dirt road we are currently detouring on around the washout from last week.
I was the unlucky guy to discover a nice soft sink hole with my summer car. Supprised a few (including myself) that I managed to get through it without getting a tow.
