For a chuckle (Turkey Apple Juice???)

Here is a bottle of apple juice we picked up from the local supermarket. It is the house brand.

It's good to see Nature's Promise is using organic turkeys.
Organic turkeys are used for the best flavor and aroma in all the finest beverages.

Amazing how one possibly incorrectly used word changes the complete meaning of the entire product contents... Turkey juice blended into or with Apple juice????...

One can conclude the product is imported from Turkey? Doubt it.

Reading the label one can draw that mis-conclusion.

As a result of one word. The word "Of" and not "From."

The product is not Turkey Juice. It's APPLE juice......

Does the Apple juice contain any Turkey Juice...:NO NO NO:

The APPLES used to make the product are from Turkey. ???

That's how I am reading it. Correct? Yes? No?...

Clarified...
Apple juice concentrate is a product FROM Turkey.
Not a concentrate OF turkey. :NO NO NO:
Turkey as in the bird turkey not the country of Turkey.
The juice is not a blend of apple juice with turkey juice.
The juice is not turkey juice mixed with apple juice either....:NO NO NO:
Product has NO turkey in it at all. The apples are grown in Turkey.
When and if I drink apple juice, organic or not, I prefer the apples are grown in Washington state......not Turkey...

"Stay Thirsty My Friend."

That's Not Beer in glasses. <Apple Juice from the USA and not imported concentrate from Turkey<...

Thats funny but at least its properly labeled...

The labeling of such things as olive oil for example is pretty straight forward. I know what I am getting.

But for the life of me I have yet to figure out the false advertising of some products, and should probably sue for misleading labels.

I have yet to find baby oil made with real baby's!!!! Baffling. And they even show a baby on the front? I have read the ingredients several times and find no mention of baby's listed......

Excellent point Wayne.

Read the info in the link. Thanks for the additional confusions......LOl!...

So what is a virgin olive?

How does the consumer know if the olive oil is made from a virgin olive???

Defined by olive age? If so at what age?

How does one know what a virgin olive looks like???
What is the deference between a virgin and an extra virgin. (???)

Extra virgin? Is that an older virgin versus a younger virgin????

Depends upon where ones mind is???....

Never know what goes on between them olive trees after dark....

YIKES!!!!!!!

STOP THE SHIP!!!!!!!

HOLD ON!!!!!!

DROP THE ANCHOR!!!!!!!!!

Let's not go there!!!

This is a family friendly web site...

Ignition: (???) As in flammability??? Lamp Oil??? Oh My!!!

Pure olive oil should burn in an oil lamp. The ignition test however, like the refrigerator test, is not conclusive.
In the United States, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) doesn't routinely test imported olive oil for adulteration, and some products are difficult to test.
In 1997, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency began conducting tests on 100 oils that claimed to be 100% olive oil and in 1999 the CFIA concluded that 20 per cent of the oils were fake
In April 2008, another operation impounded seven olive oil plants and arrested 40 people in nine provinces of northern and southern Italy for adding chlorophyll to sunflower and soybean oil and selling it as extra virgin olive oil, both in Italy and abroad. 25,000 liters of the fake oil were seized and prevented from being exported
Adulterated oil is usually no more serious than passing off inferior, but safe, product as superior olive oil, but there are no guarantees. Almost 700 people died, it is believed, as a consequence of consuming rapeseed (canola) oil adulterated with aniline intended for use as an industrial lubricant, but sold in 1981 as olive oil in Spain

BTW:
Edited In Section.

I have yet to find baby oil made with real baby's!!!!
Is there babies used to make baby oil???

Is there babies used to make baby powder???

Humm.???

Never know. ???

While on the subject of turkeys, in a letter written to his daughter in 1874, did you know it was Benjamin Franklin whom nominated the turkey to be the official bird of the United States? He was unhappy......with the alternative selection... The Bald Eagle.

His exact quote: "he is a bird of bad moral charactor...the turkey is in comparison a much more respectable bird, and withal a true original native of America."

Taken from an article in the November 2012 issue of Popular-mechanics magazine. Volume 189. No. 11 on Page #27 left side vertical column.

Additional turkey factoid.
The average weight of a Thanksgiving turkey is 16 pounds; in year 2010 Americans gobbled (ate) an estimated 46 million turkeys!!!...

Edit Note:
Typo correction....
Year letter written was NOT 1874. :NO NO NO:
Correct year was 1784...

Franklin was long dead by the time 1874 came around.

American Myths: Benjamin Franklin's Turkey and the Presidential Seal | Design Decoded

Benjamin Franklin

Depending upon what your read and where you read it, he was never president of the United States...????....president yes but not of the USA??? Got his mug on the paper ($$$) money????

More confusions based upon what you read following links in searches made.
