Requalified!

Not bad for an old guy who hadn't picked up a weapon since retiring in '99:

Great shooting! What were you shooting.

Not what I wanted to shoot. I wanted to shoot a 9mm Beretta; shot expert last seven years in uniform with that (and two years prior to that with the 1911A1). Unfortunately I was shooting with my first-time-shooter daughter at the indoor range attached to the American Police Hall of Fame in Titusville and we shared, so had to use something to fit her tiny hand. The Beretta was out of the question; the range guy worked down through available rentals until he got to a Kahr CM9. Next time we go solo. She did pretty good considering; good instructor there [I had already gone over firearm safety 101 and basic sight alignment/sight picture with her, but left the shooting instruction to a pro]. This was 25 rounds @ 10 feet; only threw 2 off the target:

Nice shooting.

I'd be all over the page with a pistol.
A long gun would be a different story however.

If you shot that group at 50 feet with a CM9 that is truly impressive. I was expecting you say something full sized and probably single action but to do it with a compact DAO is really something.

Sounds like a good day out. Give your daughter a high 5 for me!

Maybe with one of my .45s but never with a compact DAO. I know Kahrs have a very smooth action and are accurate...but I'd be all over the map at that distance. Yours would probably be my target at 7yds.

Have to say (don't tell her), your daughter sure does resemble you.
