Hope everyone has a happy safe holiday! Rained all day yesterday and doesn't look like it will quit today so I guess we'll be moving our cookout inside.

Wave some of that rain out west Mark. Our fire is still burning (approx 4000 acres last report) and they don't expect to have it out til next week unless we get a monsoon.

Yes, Happy 4th to all! Be safe with the noisemakers and grilles.

HAPPY 4th of July to everyone...

Thanks for being part of the DIY community also...

Very few Fireworks out this way.

Extreme fire dangers!!!!......and budget cuts!!!...

No fireworks or outdoor BBQ's out your way? As a result of rain?
Yep. Would guess so. Impossible to have either when it's pouring rain outdoors......

Last year our local fireworks show was cancelled due to extremely dry conditions. This year it depends on whether or not they can shoot them off between raindrops.

Vic, I'd gladly ship you some of the rain - will you pay the freight
Had my driveway in nice shape but yesterday's rain messed it all up. Hope the kids don't have any problems getting up here.

Even though we had a higher rain chance today than yesterday [when the rain never quit] it dried up and sun came out. I told my wife the sun came out and I was going to drag out the grill - but I was too late, she and our daughter in law had already started cooking the burgers and hot dogs inside. It looks like the rain will be back soon but it was nice to have a little sunshine for awhile.

Hope y'all got to enjoy the holiday!
