Log-in Button

Hi, Is it just me or has the login button at the opening page stopped working?

I eventually tried to post to an existing thread and it prompted me to log in and I was able to. But have not been able to most of the day.

Bud

PS, FF and Vista

It's not just you while I have no trouble getting on the forums with my desktop [automatic log in] I just tried with my laptop and couldn't log on. I'll let the techs know.

Sometimes I have had trouble with this and keep clicking the login button, and it never appears. Then sometimes I realize that it's popping up way off to the right side of the page (off the screen) like my screen resolution is not set correctly.

In some browsers you can resize the screen resolution by holding down the control button and then turning your scroll wheel.

Well my scroll button works as stated but nothing hiding off screen.

Thanks Mark, sometimes I think I have lost it.

I very rarely use the log-in button, just hit enter and I'm logged in.

How come we don't have a stealth button, be logged in without the little green dot showing us logged in?

Bud.... FF did a recent update. I noticed all kinds of problems. Log in was one and the other was forums not available. I ended up deleting cookies and recent history twice. After that it's been fine.

I run Vista Business on this comp too.

Just a note.... you can resize screen by holding CTRL and hitting + for larger and - for smaller.

Yeah, I use FF as well and while I'm not crazy about the new format I haven't experienced any problems. Then again, I have mine set to dump cookies every time it shuts down.

It isn't Firefox I tried Google Chrome I even tried Internet Explorer and couldn't log in I tried the same thing I logged in sort of backward like Bud9051 did. I went to an area I had posted to before and clicked on Reply to this post and was prompted to log in. If I hadn't logged in that way I wouldn't be posting on the forum right now. I like to log out especially on my laptop and then log in later. So until it is fixed that is the only way to log in.

It looks like it has been fixed, I am glad it has.

I would like to thank the techs here too without whom we wouldn't have such a wonderful forum to learn about things
