Neat way to keep it from being an eyesore

About 40 yrs ago we had to straighten up the paint job on an underground pump station. The entrance was a big pipe and with a ladder you climbed down. The previous contractor had some many runs on the pipe and ladder. I bet if he had sprayed on another quart all the runs would have run together. Anyway I had to sandblast off all that epoxy, load up and remove the sand in 5 gallon buckets and then prime and repaint. It took a day and a half to do the sandblasting including removing the sand at the end of the day. I never knew every pocket of my clothing could hold so much sand!

Cary, a town very nearby is fanatical about appearances. You'll also see cell towers that are camouflaged to look like trees.
