minimum characters needed in reply.

OK, can somebody tell me what is the trick to by pass the aluminum characters per reply? I've seen several of you regular posters use maybe only two or three words to post a quick reply. If I want to do the same I usually add a line or something at the end of my post to meet the minimum. Is there a trick?

Not a trick for some.
Type the short reply that you wish to post then place a line of periods after the reply.......Highlight the periods and change the font color to white.

Or, just do the dots and don't waste your time on the rest.

Or.

Type the word or whatever and then hold the space bar for at least 25 characters worth. Then hit the period key and enter.

Make your short statement, place periods after it to accomplish the requirement, highlight the periods and change their color to white. Sorry, Greg, didn't read your entire response.

That's a great trick. Now when I want to make some snarky, smart alec remark to someone on the forum, I won't have to hold my tongue. I'll just turn the font white so they can't see it. Kind of like mumbling under my breath behind the wife's back! LOL
