Not sure what you mean. Can you post what you see on your screen?

Here are two examples. I've been seeing it for a long time. Probably over a year.

Here's some of it in text format. I tried translating it a while back and it seems like random words.

I haven't seen that myself either but I am using No Script and I see words instead of the ad on the side but that is normal with some scripts being blocked. All of my letters though are English characters and not Asian in what I assume are Chinese characters. Are you using a browser other than IE or Firefox? There is a browser I believe that is made in Asia called Maxthon which isn't really a bad browser as I had tried it but it is cloud based and doesn't work like Firefox. I personally wouldn't use anything but Firefox but used Maxthon briefly when I had trouble with Firefox.

I changed over hard drives though and put a 1TB hard drive in my Inspiron and moved my old hard drive to a Samsung laptop I had bought so after that Maxthon was no longer on my hard drive on any computer. For those who have Linux it is in the PCLinuxOs repository so I imagine there is nothing wrong with the browser otherwise I doubt they would allow it.

I'm using IE. I'll experiment more later. I think I have to be signed in. I forgot whether I see it on FF too.

Borad, here are some questions from the techs:

Hi Borad,

Can you give us the URL of a page where you see that happening ?
Does it only happen on forum pages ?
And what version of IE are you using ?

Thanks

URL of a page where it happens: http://www.doityourself.com/forum/ge...ml#post2356112

I've only seen it on forum pages. For example, it's not on Did it Myself! | DoItYourself.com

IE 11.0.9600.17420

In Firefox it doesn't happen even when I'm logged in. The space where I would normally see the Chinese has an ad in Firefox with links to pages such as:

Walmart

2015 Equinox: Fuel-Efficient SUV | Chevrolet

But I don't always get Chinese there in IE. I see the Chinese now but on the forum page I was on before this, where I sometimes see Chinese, I saw a regular ad.

Answer from the techs:
We heard back from Google today, and apparently this is a known issue with some ads on some versions of IE (10 - 11).

They said it will be fixed during their next code release, which is in a few days.
I will update here.
