Hooooops!

It is that time of year again, folks! MARCH MADNESSS!!!

All you non-basketball fans just go away.

Okay, we all know Kentucky is the odds-on favorite to take it all, but who's your long-shot pick to pull it out?

My long-shot pick is North Carolina, but I admit they are just as likely to lose to Harvard in the first round given their up & down season.

Not sure if you'd call a #4 seed a longshot... but Louisville. But I have a feeling Kans-ass will win out.

Hey, you know MM is copyrighted and you can't use it w/o permission from the NCAA?

Personally, I'd like to see Duke or Virginia...not that I really follow BB that much.

Duke's always on my short list, and North Carolina, of course (stationed/retired from NC and daughter born there).

You're bailing on your homeboy Wildcats?

[And that's "madness" with 3 ess's ]

Who me? I'm not from Kentucky! OH my man, OH. But their BB basically is subpar, more of a football state.

You asked for options and I gave them, but I really hope KY takes it all.

Need some help with those pins, Mike?

I'm waiting with baited breath for The Masters, but it only lasts 4 days. The Big Dance is more like 4 weeks.

So who do like in The Masters?

Ok...after a bit of research...here's the ones I'll root for. Dayton, Cincinnati, OH State, Hampton, UVa, Arizona, VCU. (Yeah, I lived near all of them).

I can't believe Hampton has to play Kentucky next though. I think that's gonna be a David and Goliath game.

Face it guys, basketball season really never ends. Maybe for a day or two. Not like baseball season with 162 games defined.

Hey, your Ga St boys pulled off an early upset of Baylor!

Baseball season ends after game #162? ....ummm, what's that they play in October?

NBA basketball and NHL Hockey are the sports that never end.

Yeah, GSU did pull off a good one The games of October are only for the elite. Everyone else goes home to Florida and their hot tubs to relax a little.

Well, I was kind hoping for a catfight for the final...but they let me down. Not that I watched a single game or knew a darn thing about any of the teams.

That would probably have been a first though...Wildcats vs Wildcats.

I've got 3 out of 4 on my bracket with KY beating Duke in the final. Louisville should have beaten Mich St.

Kentucky will give Wisconsin fits but the cheeseheads will prevail for the whole ball of wax over Duke in the final.

So who do like in The Masters?
I'd love to say Phil but he's looking a little long in the tooth this year, so far anyway.

Kentucky has been beatable most of the season; trouble is nobody has managed to do it yet.

Two more weeks and golf rates go down a little; will be able to afford to play again.
