Use photobucket.com & post the link here, if you are having trouble.

I often take pictures with my Android phone and send them to my computer using Send Anywhere. I have to reduce their size to 25% of their original so they will post on the forums. Way too big.

I don't know if they have a size limit.

No, size doesn't matter when linking.

I use either Web Resizer - Making Photos Faster - Optimize pictures for websites and email or this: IrfanView - Official Homepage - one of the most popular viewers worldwide to resize pics. Irfanview is a free download.

The one that looks like a world with a chain link in it. Paste your www link name into the pop up box. This will give you a link to your picture

Go to the pic you want to show on Photobucket, right-click on it and scroll down the menu where it says "properties". Copy that whole link. Come here, and starting with the smilie icon, click on the fifth one "Insert Image". Pick the "from url" tab and paste that link there. The pic should be in your post from there.

Or once you have the actual URL of your image just use BB code to hot link it if the site permits hot linking. Example of BB code:

Note I used noparse tags to show the code. If you just write it you only see the picture.

There ya go!! In photobucket just click on the "IMG" code, your computer should automatically copy it then paste where ever you want it in your message.

Talk about taking the long way up the mountain.

One thing to take note of though a picture from Photo Bucket will be bigger but bigger isn't necessarily better as it takes longer to look at your pictures. I use Pixresizer that you can find here to download PixResizer - Free download and software reviews - CNET Download.com it is completely free and very easy to use. I usually use the custom option for my pictures as I can then make the pictures a bit smaller so that they fit better here.
