This week I did my part to aid Santa....while working on some project in the attic, I banged my head on a #$%@$ rafter tie and dropped the piece of plywood I was carrying to make a walk way. Of course, out of the 10 ways it could have landed, it twisted around in mid air to align with the joists, punching a 3x4 hole through the ceiling of my family room.

I told my wife it was so Santa could get in; since our fireplace is not suitable for such a rotund fellow.

Ah well...what's one more project....

Merry Christmas and Happy New year to all!

The last of the family arrived from out of state yesterday so it will be a very special holiday. Best wishes to all here. Headed to 52 today, but no complaints. Looks like we will get a touch of snow before the year ends.

Here's hoping all your repairs are minor ones. Merry Christmas from a warm Buffalo, NY.

Hope y'all have a great Christmas!

Since my wife has to work on Christmas day we always celebrate the night before so I get to relax today, probably visits some friends I haven't seen in awhile.
